Bel Canto Design (BCD) wants us to add this to all our BCD listings:
MSS HiFi is not an authorized BCD dealer. Any BCD products purchased from MSS HiFi do not have a manufacturer's warranty, and will not be eligible for service from BCD, software or hardware upgrades, rebates, any recall or other notices.

First of all, this is illegal. All new electronics sold in New York state have to come with a factory warranty to all buyers - within New York state, out of state, international, and extraterrestrial. This is New York state general business law, and confirmed by the Federal Court of United States, the highest court in the land. 

It is also too unbelievable, and blatantly un-American. Can you imagine Honda telling us that we will not be able to get service or parts? In fact, Honda dealers will service and sell parts for any Honda, and with no exception all new Honda cars in the US come with 36kmiles/3yr warranty to the original and subsequent owners. And they are not even American. We are currently consulting with NYU to see if there is such precedence in Nazi Germany. This is wrong, but MSS HiFi will make it right. All new BCD products that we sell come with MSS HiFi 2yr limited service warranty, and MSS HiFi will service new BCD products after the warranty period and all used BCD products at a nominal hourly rate. MSS HiFi is not an authorized dealer for any brands. This is a good thing. It means that we are free to sell everything at blow out pricing. As Audio Robin Hood and the Leader of the Free World, MSS HiFi will never participate in any illegal price fixing scheme endorsed by select manufacturers and their dealers. We will always fight to protect consumer's interests and free enterprise.
