Product Description
The Bel Canto REF150S replaced the wildly popular S-300 stereo amplifier. The REF150S is rated at 75W x2 into 8ohm and 150W x2 into 4ohm. This power rating is only half that of the S-300 that it replaced but do not be confused, the REF150S is capable of delivering 3x the current of the S-300. We all know that in high-end amplification, current delivery is the holy grail. This is why the REF150S is a Bel Canto reference component, but the S-300 wasn't. The REF150S is simply a better sounding amplifier. 75W x2 is enough to power a pair of 90dB speakers to 108dB SPL, pretty damn loud, more than enough for most applications.
