The Arcam Solo Music is an all in one unit with CD player, tuner, preamp and amplifier all in one chassis. Don't let the rather plain exterior fools you, the Solo Music has a chockful of high quality audiophile parts inside, nicely laid out in a shortest signal path design. The sound has just the right spiciness to emphasize high resolution details, transparency and air that defines high fidelity. Despite the great details, the sound is never bright, always musical and tuneful.

The Solo Music is one of Arcam's best releases. It is so good that the Audio Robin Hood owns one in the bedroom system of his NYC apartment.

This one for sale here had only one previous owner in NYC. There are a few very minor paint chips on the faceplate (see pictures), nothing serious just paint chips that do not penetrate the metal. Priced to sell at 55% off MSRP!!
