The Evolution preamps are the absolute gems of the Krell Evolution line-up. The EV-amps are only slightly better than their previous generation amplifiers, Krell had been making state-of-the-art amplifiers for a long time. However, there had been no truly top-class preamp from Krell until the EV-preamps, the EV202 is by far better than any Krell preamps ever made, state-of-the-art and can be compared to any other preamp in market regardless of price. We sold this EV202 originally, it has now been traded back to us. Only one year old, mint condition. It is a USA version 120V/60Hz. Voltage conversion to 230V/50Hz can be arranged for $500 at the Krell factory.
