Voltage Conversion

We offer voltage conversion service for these brands:

• Krell: voltage and frequency conversion. $300 per unit for most products. $200 for less complicated equipment, up to $500 for the most complicated.
• PS Audio: $300 for 230V input board modification for P500 and P1000. $100-$200 for other pieces.
• Wadia:  $300 per unit for most recent models, $200 for less complicated pieces.
• dCS: $300 for most pieces
• JL Audio: $300 for most pieces
• Velodyne: $300 for DD-series, $200 for most others
• BAT Balanced Audio Technology: $200 for most pieces, special edition models cost a lot more to convert
• CAT Convergent Audio Technology: $200 for most pieces

Cable Burn-In Service

For only $50 per set of cable, MSS HiFi will burn in your cable(s) for 72 hours (or 3 cycles) on the Nordost Vidar cable burn-in device. The Vidar drives electrons in a special way through the conductors and the dielectrics, achieving results that are not possible with simply connecting the cable to a system. The result is not subtle at all, you have to be deaf to not hear a difference. The burned in cables will come with a special MSS Vidar certification.

Any cable(s) that was purchased from MSS HiFi qualifies for a 30% discount. For those cables, only $35 per set to burn in!!
